Matthew K. has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Matthew has held various roles in different companies. Most recently, they joined Lakeside Software in 2022 as the Vice President of Cloud and DevOps. Prior to that, they worked at EncircleLabs from 2019, serving as a Senior Advisor to the CEO and CTO, where they played a key role in data governance, compliance, and infrastructure scalability. Matthew led the initial launch of the application and migrated the company to a DevOps culture.

Before EncircleLabs, Matthew worked at Foghorn Consulting, Inc. from 2015 to 2022 in two different roles. As the Director of Engineering, they oversaw design, architecture, and migration of cloud solutions for clients. Matthew also led a team of engineers and facilitated meetings with clients to discuss project vision and strategy. As a Senior DevOps Engineer/Lead, they guided engineering teams in executing client application migration projects and coordinated proof of concepts.

Matthew's earlier experiences include working as an Infrastructure Engineer/Project Coordinator at viagogo from 2014 to 2015, managing software development projects and deploying Linux-based systems. Matthew also worked as an IT Associate at Highmount Capital from 2011 to 2013, monitoring SEC compliance and deploying VMware clusters. Before that, they served as an IT Project Manager at the US Department of Defense from 2010 to 2011, managing various programs and budgets.
