Robert Hobbs

Robert Hobbs has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Robert currently works as the Senior Director of Business Development at Lakeside Software since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Coach for Advocate for Ending The Opioid Epidemic since 2015, providing coaching services for individuals and families struggling with opioid addiction, trauma, and codependency. In 2016, they became a Best Selling Author, publishing two books and writing articles related to addiction. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Chemical Dependency Counselor at RISE Recovery, where they provided counseling to individuals with Substance Use Disorder. Earlier in their career, they held leadership positions at IBBS - Integrated Broadband Services, including VP of Business Engineering and VP of Sales, Marketing, and Product Management. In these roles, they led teams, managed mergers and acquisitions, and spearheaded the entry into new markets.

Robert Hobbs has an extensive education history. Robert holds an MBA in Management and Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Robert also completed the Officer Program at Naval Nuclear Power School, specializing in Naval Nuclear Propulsion. Additionally, they have a BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) from Ohio University, where they graduated Cum Laude.

In addition to their formal education, Hobbs has obtained several certifications. Robert is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) from the Center for Credentialing & Education, which they obtained in March 2018. Robert is also a Neuro-linguistic Programming Practitioner certified by the iNLP Center in 2018. Furthermore, Hobbs holds certifications as a POSE Running Technique Specialist from the Romanov Academy of Sports Science (obtained in October 2016), and as a Certified Strategic Interventionist/Coach and Master Level Strategic Interventionist and Coach from the Center for Strategic Intervention (obtained in May 2016). Robert has also completed the Robbins Madanes Strategic Intervention Coaching program through Robbins-Madanes Training (obtained in May 2016).

Going further back, Hobbs obtained certifications in Effective Negotiation from KARRASS in February 2000, the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People from Covey in January 1992, and Kemper Tregoe Problem Solving from Kemper Tregoe in March 1990. Lastly, they obtained the Naval Nuclear Power Engineer certification from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)/Naval Reactors in January 1994.
