Carlos Cortinas

Carlos Cortinas has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Carlos has held various managerial and leadership positions in the field of information technology.

Starting in 1999, Carlos served as the Vice President of Information Technology at Planet / Potamkin Automotive Group, where they managed the IT department's operations and collaborated closely with the CFO and CEO to align IT resources with business needs.

In 2004, Carlos joined AutoNation as the Director of Technical Services (CTO). In this role, they set technology standards for the enterprise and oversaw system implementations and evaluations across all business units. Carlos also managed large teams and ensured datacenter and disaster recovery strategies were in place.

In 2008, Carlos became the Director of Business Intelligence at Burger King Corporation. Carlos led the development and implementation of a global strategy for business intelligence, including analytics and reporting. Carlos also managed the technology infrastructure and analytical reporting systems.

From 2010 to 2011, Carlos worked as a Senior Technical Consultant and Project Manager at Independent Purchasing Cooperative. Carlos provided technical architecture assessments and recommendations, as well as managed critical projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Carlos joined AvMed Health Plans in 2011 as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Manager of Shared Services. Carlos managed a major program in business intelligence and data governance, including the redesign and re-architecture of the enterprise data warehouse.

In 2012, Carlos had two roles. Carlos worked as a Senior Manager of BIA and Production Services at Assurant Solutions, where they managed the organization's business intelligence practice. Carlos also served as part of PricewaterhouseCoopers' (PwC) CIO Advisory Solution group, specializing in IT strategy, shared services, and outsourcing advisory.

From 2013 to 2015, Carlos was the VP of Technology Operations at Arise Virtual Solutions Inc. Carlos was responsible for IT operations and strategic alliances, focusing on driving results and delivering business value.

Carlos then joined eNet IT Group in 2015 as the Managing Director of Advisory. In this role, they led the delivery of IT advisory services, including IT strategy, enterprise architecture, data management, and technology infrastructure solutions.

Most recently, Carlos became the VP of Business Technology Delivery at Lakeview Loan Servicing in 2019.

Carlos Cortinas attended Florida State University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology/Neuro Psychology.
