Lalaina McCue's work experience includes:

Lalaina McCue obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trine University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Westlake High School from 2011 to 2015, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. Additionally, Lalaina McCue has obtained several certifications in web development and coding from SheCodes Workshops. In August 2020, they obtained a certification in Front End Development, followed by a certification in React Development in September 2020. Most recently, in May 2021, they obtained a certification in Responsive Web Development. In July 2020, they also obtained a certification in Introduction to Coding.

In the last decade, our 4,600-student district has renovated or rebuilt seven elementary schools (grades PreK-5), two middle schools (grades 6-8) and added two new wings to Lakewood High School, an academic wing of additional classrooms and a performing arts and physical education wing that includes a community fitness center. The District also offers an elearning program and an alternative education program for grades 6-12. The Lakewood City Schools now has among the best school facilities and the best technological support for teaching and learning that can be found in our area.
