Rachel Bonsky is an experienced Intervention Specialist currently working with Lakewood City Schools since June 2017, where responsibilities include teaching English, Social Studies, and electives to students with severe behavioral and emotional disabilities, along with creating interventions for their behavioral and transition needs. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Coach for Ice Reflections Synchronized Skating Team from August 2020 to May 2023 and as Lead Teacher at Camp Imagine from June 2016 to July 2021, providing extended services for students with moderate to severe disabilities and managing a team of paraprofessionals. Prior to Lakewood City Schools, Rachel worked as an Intervention Specialist at Midview Local Schools, co-teaching and providing interventions for students with various disabilities. Rachel holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Ashland University and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Miami University.

The District also offers an elearning program and an alternative education program for grades 6-12.
