Laurel Buchanan

Laurel Buchanan is an experienced clinical data analyst with a career spanning over two decades in various database management roles. Currently at Lakewood Health System since February 2009, Laurel specializes in utilizing Crystal Reports and SQL Server to develop tools for data extraction from diverse health-related systems and EMR systems, alongside occasional design and construction of Access databases. Prior experience includes positions as a database manager at Floe International, Inc., a database administrator at Davenport University, a member services manager at The Acton Institute for the Study of Religion & Liberty, and a programmer at Tapco International. Laurel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/CIS from Northern Michigan University, earned between 1994 and 1999.
