Oskar Valtysson

Oskar Valtysson is the current Founder & CTO at Laki Power. Oskar has over 48 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

Oskar started their career in 1971 as an electronic hardware and software designer at Iceland Telecom. Oskar worked there for 20 years before moving on to Landsvirkjun in 1991. At Landsvirkjun, they were the Head of Telecommunication for 28 years. In 2008, they became a member of the board of directors at Fjarski ehf, where they served for 9 years. Oskar then became a member of the board of directors at Orkufjarskipti hf in 2011, serving for 2 years. Rasmark ehf was their next venture, where they served as a member of the board of directors.

Their manager is Osvaldur Knudsen, CEO. Oskar Valtysson works with Bjorn Sighvatsson - Head of manufacturing, Gudjon Vilhjalmsson - Head of software, and Einar Petursson - Head of Systems Engineering.
