Tajwar Awal has had a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Tajwar is currently a Board Member at the Bangladesh Seed Association (BSA) since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Director at Pragati Insurance Limited starting from September 2021. Tajwar has also held directorial positions at Lal Teer Seed Limited, Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Limited, and Multimode Group. Tajwar took on the role of Director of Technical Operations at Lal Teer Seed Limited in January 2015. Tajwar's extensive experience includes working as a Director at Multimode Group and Director of Operations at Chens Crop Science Bangladesh Limited. Tajwar also served as a Marketing/Finance Associate at Multimode Group, Lal Teer Seed Ltd, and as an intern in the Agrochemical Project Implementation Unit at Multimode Group, Kay & Que Ltd. Throughout their career, Tajwar has demonstrated skills in operations management, market analysis, sales monitoring, and business development.

Tajwar Awal started their education journey in 2006 at Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), with a major in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Tajwar successfully completed this degree in 2010. Afterward, Tajwar went on to pursue further education at the same institution, Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School. In 2011, they completed their Master of Science degree in Finance.

Lal Teer Seed Ltd. is the largest producer of seeds in the private sector in Bangladesh. It is a research-based company which develops and produces high yielding, both hybrid and open pollinated seeds and also manages its own sales and marketing infrastructure. Lal Teer has set up a modern biotechnology lab which helps in selecting parental lines as well as supports in the testing of hybridity. It also has an impressive genebank facility housing several thousand germplasms. Recently the company has established a seed quality testing lab on premises within the framework of the International Seed Testing Authority (ISTA). Lal Teer Seed have developed international business in fields of seed, pesticide and chemical import of selected quality seed from USA, Thailand, China, Italy and exporting seed to countries like Vietnam, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Italy, Malaysia, etc. Over the years, Lal Teer has developed a mutually beneficial relationship with its partners. Lal Teer is not only contributing to the improvement of nutrition, food security, farmer empowerment, and women empowerment in Bangladesh, but also helps to mitigate the imminent effects of climate change.
