Sergio Sanchez Castaner

Sergio Sanchez Castaner currently serves as the External Venue Operations Broadcast Manager at UEFA and as the Head of Audiovisual Product at Liga F, along with an extensive role as a consultant for LaLiga on audiovisual regulations and the implementation of new broadcasting formats. With over a decade at LaLiga, Sergio has held multiple key positions including Head of TV Production, VAR - Technological and Television Director, and Audiovisual Area - Match Directors Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing operational protocols for TV production and managing refereeing services. Sergio's career began as a judge and professional football referee before transitioning into leadership roles, complemented by a background in sports management and law, with degrees from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Universidad de Córdoba. Additionally, Sergio has held the position of C.E.O. at Deportalia and served as General Secretary for the Andalusian Confederation of Sport Federations.
