Thomas Kneale

Thomas Kneale has a diverse work experience ranging from founding and leading companies to being an executive fellow and test pilot in the US Navy. Thomas is currently the Cofounder & CEO of LalTal, a learning company that addresses the behavioral side of learning. Before this, they were the Founder and CEO of Earthrise Solutions, an innovation consultancy that helps companies turn innovative concepts into reality, Head of Moonshot Launch at Alpha, and Deputy Director for Mission Systems and Software at the F-35 Joint Program Office in the US Navy. Thomas has also worked as a Secretary of Defense Executive Fellow at Autodesk, where they advised senior defense officials on corporate best practices, and held various leadership roles as a test pilot and operations officer in the US Navy.

Thomas Kneale attended the United States Naval Academy from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering. Thomas then attended the United States Naval Test Pilot School from 2005 to 2006, where they studied Flight Test and Evaluation. Kneale obtained a Master of Science degree in Aviation Systems from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. During this time, they also obtained a Master's degree in Military Studies from Marine Corps University in 2008 to 2009. In 2014, Kneale attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business for the Secretary of Defense Fellowship Executive Education Program. Lastly, in 2017, they obtained a Program Management Level III certification from the Defense Acquisition University. Kneale also obtained a Test and Evaluation Level II certification from the same institution, though the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
