Fabio Righetti

Fabio Righetti is a seasoned expert in the field of semiconductor processing and plasma physics with extensive experience in both academic and industrial settings. Currently serving as a Senior Product and RF Engineer at Lam Research since April 2020, Righetti designs and tests innovative semiconductor equipment, focusing on plasma and RF system development. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Stanford University's Plasma Physics Laboratory, where extensive research was conducted on electromagnetic waves, plasma interaction, and electric thrusters for space applications. Righetti also worked as a Visiting Student Researcher at Stanford, concentrating on electric space propulsion through experimental research on Hall thrusters. Righetti's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and Università degli Studi di Padova, respectively.
