James Liu

James Liu is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in system design, project management, and equipment processes. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at Lam Research since June 2019, James Liu focuses on mechanical system design and Bill of Materials (BOM) management. Previous roles include positions at Apple in Battery R&D, SolarCity in module technology, and various engineering roles at Brittmore Group LLC and earlier at Lam Research. James Liu holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a design concentration from Santa Clara University, complemented by international education at National Taiwan Normal University. Proficient in multiple CAD and CAE software programs, James Liu showcases a robust background across multiple sectors, including semiconductor and solar technologies.
