Sassan Roham, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Engineering - Computational Modeling & Product Reliability at Lam Research, a position held since January 2000, where responsibilities include overseeing engineering sciences and product reliability groups and developing strategic roadmaps for future technological integration. Prior to this, Sassan worked as a Staff Engineer at Northrop Grumman from September 1998 to December 1999, focusing on the design and analysis of hardware for a nuclear aircraft carrier’s turbine engine installation. Sassan also held the role of Lead Structural Engineer at Raytheon from July 1995 to September 1998, managing a team through the entire process of product development and maintaining an Intellectual Property portfolio. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University, an MSME in Mechanical Engineering, a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, and a degree from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
