Scott Choy

Scott Choy is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lam Research, responsible for mechanical analysis and hardware design of advanced tools for 3D NAND and DRAM applications. With extensive experience in mechanical engineering, Scott has managed multi-disciplinary projects, focusing on systems engineering, risk identification, and root cause analysis to enhance process functionality, reliability, and cost efficiency. Prior roles include Mechanical Engineer III-IV at SunPower Corporation, where Scott designed solutions to improve equipment effectiveness and led engineering lab transitions, and Mechanical Engineer I-III at OLT Solar, specializing in capital equipment design for the photovoltaic industry.
