Shishir Kumar

Shishir Kumar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product engineering and management within the semiconductor and aerospace industries. Currently serving as Group Manager at Lam Research since June 2021, Shishir leads initiatives in deposition product engineering and cost-out programs, driving significant savings in new product development and high-volume manufacturing. Prior to this role, Shishir was Chief Technology Officer at i2n Technologies, where responsibilities included establishing product engineering processes for semiconductor instruments and overseeing product development from inception to commercialization. Shishir's earlier tenure at General Electric - GE Aviation focused on advanced product development within aerospace systems, particularly in turbomachinery and aerostructures. With a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, bolstered by a Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor’s degree from Pune University, Shishir has cultivated expertise in cross-functional team leadership and strategic collaborations throughout a diverse career.
