Shannon Howze

Shannon Howze, Ph.D., serves as an Exceptional Education Teacher at Lamar County School District since July 2021. Previously, Shannon held the role of Exceptional Education Teacher at LELAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS from August 2018 to July 2021 and worked as a District Behavior Specialist, Exceptional Education LSC/Teacher, and 5th Grade Teacher at Hattiesburg Public School District between August 2005 and July 2018. Shannon earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi (2015 - 2022) and also holds a Specialist in Education in Educational Leadership from the same institution. Additionally, Shannon obtained a Master of Education in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special Education from William Carey University and a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from The University of Southern Mississippi.
