Wilma Jackson, Ed.D. has extensive experience in higher education, with a focus on promoting diversity and inclusion. Wilma is currently serving as the Director of Diversity and Inclusive Excellence at Lamar University, where they work with students to provide cross-cultural interaction, diversity training, and resources. Previously, they held the position of Director of Multicultural Support Services at Doane University for over 15 years, where they were responsible for supporting students from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, they served as the Director of Student Activities at Doane University for three years. Prior to that, they worked as a Career Academy Coordinator at Southeast Community College.

Wilma Jackson, Ed.D. holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Education Leadership from Doane University. Wilma also earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College in 2007. Wilma'sBachelor's Degree in Social Work was obtained from Northeast Louisiana University between 1981 and 1986. In addition to their degrees, they have also obtained a certification from the Department of Multicultural Services at Texas A&M University-Advanced Diversity Training Institute in 2012.
