John Weers

John Weers is an accomplished technology professional with a diverse background in IT and software development. Currently serving as the Global Director of Middleware and Emerging Technology at Lamb Weston since February 2020, John focuses on EDI, QA Automation, Integration, Mobile Apps, and APIs. Prior experience includes a tenure at Micron Technology from June 2002 to February 2020, where John held roles such as Sr. IT Manufacturing ALM/Quality Manager, emphasizing software quality and Application Lifecycle Management. Additionally, John managed the IT Engineering software team at Micron. Earlier in John’s career, from June 1995 to June 2002, John worked as a Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation, developing Host Automation software for global 300mm fabs. John holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Idaho, earned between 1990 and 1995.
