Ravi Shankar Maurya has over 17 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, they are the DGM and Bioanalytical Lead for Protein and Biosimilars at Lambda Therapeutic Research, where they are responsible for leading the Bioanalytical function for Biotherapeutics. Their role includes supervising regulated bioanalysis assessments across various phases of studies and collaborating with different stakeholders to establish effective methods and processes.

Prior to this, Ravi worked as an Assistant General Manager - R&D (Complex Injectables & Biosimilars) at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited. In this role, they were responsible for early and late-stage development in various areas such as CMC, Analytical, Bioanalytical, PK, and Biomarker. Ravi Shankar also served as the scientific project lead for analytical and bioanalytical method development and validation.

Before joining Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Ravi worked as a Scientific Manager in the R&D department at Biocon Biologics. During their time there, they focused on bioanalytical science for biosimilars. Ravi Shankar also has experience at Hospira as a Research Scientist I in the Global R&D department, where they worked on the development of platform technologies and bioassays for biosimilar mAbs.

Ravi began their career as a Research Scientist at Reliance Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., where they specialized in therapeutic protein research for biosimilars. During their time there, they gained valuable experience in this field.

Overall, Ravi has a strong background in bioanalytical science, specifically in the development and validation of analytical and bioanalytical methods for biosimilars.

Ravi Shankar Maurya pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biological Sciences from Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, which they completed from 2000 to 2003. Ravi Shankar then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry from Doctor Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University between 2003 and 2005.

In 2008, Ravi enrolled in WIPO Worldwide Academy for a General Course on Intellectual Property, focusing on Intellectual Property Rights. Following that, they attended UBI Business School from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Management.

In addition to their formal education, Ravi also acquired various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Ravi Shankar obtained a Microsoft Project Certification from Simplilearn in 2018. In 2019, they achieved the EXIN Agile Scrum Master certification from Simplilearn. Ravi also holds certifications such as Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Simplilearn (obtained in 2022), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) from ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals (obtained in 2022), and PMP® Plus from Simplilearn (obtained in 2022). In 2020, they became a Project Management Professional (PMP)® through the Project Management Institute, and they also completed the Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® from LinkedIn.
