Steven Barros started their work experience in 2010 as an Orientation Leader at Otterbein University, followed by a role as President at Sigma Delta Phi Fraternity in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Public Relations Intern for The Short North Alliance and as an Assistant Operations Manager at AMC Theatres. In 2013, they worked as a Barista at Starbucks. In 2014, Barros joined Apple, where they worked in various roles, including Genius (Senior Technician), CoreMotion Software Quality Assurance Tester, Safari and WebKit Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Safari/WebKit Software Quality Assurance Engineer, and Technical Specialist. During their time at Apple, Barros maintained a NPS customer feedback score of 84 and was rated Exceeds Expectations in the category of Teamwork. In 2022, they joined Lambda as a Customer Success Associate.

Steven Barros attended Otterbein University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Vocal Music. In 2015, they obtained a certification as an Apple Certified Mac Technician from Apple.
