Laura Islas is an experienced automotive professional currently serving as Series Buyer for Interiors at Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. since December 2020. Prior to this role, Laura worked at Ford Motor Company for nearly nine years, starting in November 2011 as a Product Engineer. During this time, Laura oversaw various engineering projects, including the management of wipers and washer systems for a new C platform vehicle, development of rear bumper systems, and engineering core ownership of door and ignition key-locking systems in North America and Brazil. Laura holds a Master of Business Administration from MIP Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
