James Grant

James Grant is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sports management and agricultural advocacy. Currently, James serves as the Owner of Standardbred Race Horses, where ownership includes the successful 2021 2YO OSS Super Final Champion, Bob Loblaw. In addition, James holds the position of Board Director at the Lambton Federation of Agriculture, supporting local farmers and community initiatives since January 2021. At Lambton College, James has been the Manager of Athletics & Student Life and the General Manager of the Student Administrative Council, also coaching the Men's Basketball Team. As Vice President and Board Director at Hoops All-Star Basketball Inc., James contributes to youth basketball education. Previously, James was an Executive Officer and Board Director with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation, where various roles were filled from 2008 to 2016. James completed a Bachelor of Education with a focus on History and Geography, along with an Additional Qualification in Special Education from Western University. Additionally, James holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the same institution.
