Senior Vice President, Research And Innovation at Lambton College

Mehdi Sheikhzadeh, PhD, PEng, is an accomplished professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Research and Innovation at Lambton College since September 2009, where prior titles included Vice President and Executive Dean. Mehdi Sheikhzadeh's work focuses on industrial automation, advanced process control, and optimization, and has included a role as NSERC Industrial Research Chair for Colleges. Academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Instrumentation and Control at the University of Western Ontario from May 2011 to May 2016. Previous industry experience encompasses positions as a Research Scientist at Lanxess, a Process Control and Maintenance Planning Engineer at Iran Alumina Company, and a Project Control Engineer at Sazeh Khavar. Mehdi Sheikhzadeh holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Western University, as well as a Master of Engineering Science and a Bachelor of Engineering Science, both in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and Ferdowsi University, respectively.
