Nigel Carrington has had a distinguished career in executive leadership across the legal, corporate, and higher education sectors, complemented by diverse non-executive roles in creative industries and community service since 2005. They served as Chair of The English Concert from 2006 to 2012 and held non-executive director positions at Universities UK and Creative UK. Currently, Nigel chairs LAMDA, THE SATURDAY CLUB TRUST, and Burgh House, and is a member of the Board of Trustees for The Art Fund. They were also Vice Chancellor at University of the Arts London from 2008 to 2021 and are an accredited Executive Coach. Nigel holds a Master of Arts in Law from the University of Oxford and a Graduate Diploma in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art.
