Jihan Abass

Jihan Abass is the CEO and founder of Lami, an insurance technology company. Jihan is also the founder of Griffin Motor Insurance, the first smart car insurance in East Africa.

Before starting their own companies, Jihan worked as a junior trader at Toyota Tsusho Sugar Trading Limited for 1 year and 2 months.

Jihan has always been driven by a desire to make things simpler and more efficient. This desire led their to create Lami, which allows users to create and distribute digital insurance products in record time. The Lami insurance gateway digitises the entire insurance process, making it easier and faster for people to get the coverage they need.

The Griffin Motor App, built using the Lami insurance API, is another example of Jihan's commitment to making things easier for people. The app offers a seamless experience that is simpler, cheaper, and more efficient than traditional car insurance.

Jihan's work has had a profound impact on the insurance industry in Africa. Jihan is helping to redefine car insurance in Africa and making it easier for people to get the coverage they need.

Jihan Abass has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Bayes Business School.
