Ann Nelson

Ann Nelson is an accomplished senior director with extensive experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, and event planning. Currently serving as Senior Director at LamontCo since March 2025, Ann previously held leadership roles that included Director of Development and Membership at First Universalist Church, where responsibilities encompassed managing fundraising activities and collaborating with volunteers. Ann's background also includes positions such as Development Associate at Children’s Home Society of Minnesota, Director of Annual Giving at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, and Director of Cooking School and Event Center at Kitchen Window, demonstrating a consistent track record of achieving and surpassing fundraising goals and enhancing program offerings. In addition, as the owner and Senior Event Producer at Ann Plans, Ann partners with various organizations to produce large-scale events. Ann holds a degree from Drake University, achieved between 1983 and 1987.
