Violet started their career at Best Buy as a Store Services Manager. Violet was with the company for over 7 years before moving to PetSmart as a Store Director. After a year with PetSmart, they joined Lamps Plus and has been with the company for over 10 years.

Violet Shipley received their Master's degree in Public Administration and Social Service Professions from Grand Canyon University. Violet also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Arizona State University - Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
