LAMSA is a football academy and non-profit organisation based in a former Liberian refugee camp in southern Ghana.

Through sport, we provide more than 95 boys and girls with life-changing opportunities both on and off the pitch — including education, nutrition, healthcare, housing, and a safe environment in which to grow.

Our Mission

To develop not only football players, but young leaders with values, character, and real pathways for the future.

Our Model

LAMSA combines a high-performance football academy with a strong social impact ecosystem, working with partners such as FC Barcelona, Puma, Atlético de Madrid, LALIGA and professional athlete Manu Sánchez.

Key Milestones

🇱🇷 A former LAMSA player selected for the Liberia U12 national team; two current players compete with the Ghana U17 District Team.

🌍 Over 70 international volunteers hosted across education, sport, and health programs.

💛 €80,000+ raised to fund meals, education, housing, and medical care.

🔧 Development of sustainable initiatives (volunteering, services, transportation) that strengthen financial autonomy and create jobs for LAMSA graduates.

Where We Are Going

🚀 We are now entering a pivotal phase focused on building the LAMSA Sports Center, a facility designed to multiply our impact and position LAMSA as one of the leading grassroots football academies in West Africa.
