Brian Sánchez Vigara

Brian S. currently serves as the Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago in the Federal Civil Rights Litigation Division, where notable achievements include successfully defending the city in a wrongful death jury trial related to a police-involved shooting. Prior to this role, Brian S. worked at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where responsibilities included prosecuting numerous bench trials, leading jury trial teams, and developing training resources for new attorneys. Experience also includes a legal internship with the Department of Justice focusing on narcotics prosecution and an internship as a law clerk for a U.S. District Court judge. Brian S. holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
