Tom Wighard has several years of work experience in the engineering and architecture field. Tom began their career at LAN Associates in 2001 as a Mechanical Engineering Intern and later worked as a Mechanical Engineer from 2003 to 2008. In 2008, they joined the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority as a Project Engineer. In 2009, they returned to LAN Associates and held various positions including Senior Mechanical Engineer, Vice President, and is currently serving as the President since May 2023. In terms of additional certifications, Tom is an ASHRAE Certified High Performance Building Design Professional (HBDP), obtained from ASHRAE, and a LEED AP BD+C, obtained from the USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter.
