Laura Bigley

Laura Bigley serves as Co-Chair and Director at the Association of SuDS Authorities since September 2022 and is the Principal Flood Risk Officer & Manager at Lancashire County Council, a position held since September 2020. Previously, Laura held the role of Lead Planning Policy Officer at Knowsley Council for a brief period in 2020 and served as the Merseyside Flood Risk Coordinator at Wirral Council from September 2015 to June 2020. Laura's expertise includes flood risk management, sustainable drainage solutions, and developing strategies in collaboration with various risk management authorities and local communities. An academic background includes a CMI qualification in Operations Management from January 2019 to October 2021, a Master’s degree in Town & Regional Planning, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Liverpool.
