Robin Jones

Robin Jones has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Local Area Lead for Lancashire at North West Net Zero Hub since December 2021 and as a Director at Community Energy Preston since January 2024. With a strong technical and stakeholder focus, Robin has been involved with Community Energy Preston since 2021. Previously, Robin held the position of Senior Project Officer for Low Carbon and Renewable Energy at Lancashire County Council and worked as a Renewable Energy Project Officer at Together Housing Group, managing a significant ERDF-funded project focused on solar photovoltaics and energy storage for social housing. Robin's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester, complemented by studies at the National University of Singapore.
