Susan Holden

Susan Holden has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in education. Susan has served as Head Teacher at Lancashire County Council since April 2021. Prior to this, they held positions such as Senior Quality & Outcomes Consultant at Bolton Council and Early Years Consultant at Blackpool Council. Susan has also worked as a Senior Lecturer and Associate Tutor at Edge Hill University, and as an Educational Consultant/Director. Susan'sbackground includes roles such as Deputy Headteacher at Aylward Academy and Senior Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire. Additionally, they have been an Early Years Inspector & Trainer at Prospects and an Associate Tutor at the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA).

Susan Holden completed their Bachelor of Education with Honors in Primary School Teaching at the University of Leeds from 1983 to 1987. Susan then went on to earn a Master's degree in Education from the University of Hertfordshire in 1997. In 2000, they obtained a National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) in Educational Leadership from the London Institute. Finally, in 2008, they achieved Early Years Teacher Status from Lancaster University.
