Alan Wright has over 17 years of experience in communications and media, currently serving as the Head of Campaigns and Communications for Lancashire Wildlife Trust since December 2009. In this role, Alan has built a leading communications team and integrated it with the Marketing team, achieving exceptional performance and maintaining a membership of 30,000 across the region. Prior to this, Alan held similar roles with The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, and worked as a freelance sub-editor for various publications. Additionally, Alan contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Journalism at various universities, teaching a range of subjects including Design and Media Relations. Earlier professional experience includes serving as an Internal Communications Advisor at Manchester Airport and as a sub-editor at MEN.
