Katherine Weida

Katherine Weida is an experienced educator and coach currently serving as an Algebra Teacher at Sacred Heart School since 2011, where responsibilities include planning lessons and constructing tests for advanced 7th and 8th grade math students. In addition to teaching, Katherine has coaching roles at Lancaster Country Day School for both middle school soccer and girls basketball, and has been a Swim Coach for Sea Devil Swimming, focusing on teaching swimmers aged 5-8 the four basic strokes. Earlier, Katherine gained experience as a Peer Mentor at Washington College, assisting peers with academic writing, and as a Sports Editor for the college's student-run newspaper. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Washington College and a certification in Secondary Education from Pennsylvania State University.
