Jessicah Lawrence is an experienced English teacher currently teaching 8th grade English Language Arts at Indian Land Middle School for Lancaster County School District since August 2017. Prior to this role, Jessicah taught English for five years at Lancaster High School, where skills in teaching grades 9-11 were developed, along with obtaining a gifted and talented endorsement for honors level instruction. Before transitioning into education, Jessicah worked as a reporter across various news outlets, including Beaufort Today, Jasper County Sun Times, Cherokee Tribune, Newton/Rockdale Citizen, Bluffton Today, and The Greer Citizen, covering local government and community issues. Jessicah holds a Master’s Degree in English with a specialization in English Teaching from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from North Greenville University.
