Paul Newman

Paul Newman serves as the Executive Medical Director of LGHP Specialties at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health since March 2017, overseeing a comprehensive surgical department comprising over 150 surgeons and managing 13 Division Leader Chiefs. As Chair of the Department of Surgery, Paul Newman collaborates closely with the Director of Perioperative Services to enhance service efficiency, patient safety, and surgical environments. With a robust background in general surgery and specialties such as minimally invasive and robotic surgery, Paul Newman has held a physician role at Lancaster General Health Physicians - Surgical Group since July 1999. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware, a Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship from Emory University, and a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, among other degrees.
