Tara Casher

Tara Casher serves as the Director of Operations for Specialty Practices at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, a position held since November 2017. Previously, Tara held the title of Administrative Director for GI and General Surgery Service Lines at the same institution. Between February and June 2021, Tara was the Registration Unit Director for Vaccinate Lancaster, leading registration and customer service efforts at a mass vaccination site. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Operations at Regional GI and as the Executive Director at Lancaster Gastroenterology, Inc., where oversight of clinical and clerical operations was paramount. Tara began their career at Lancaster General Health, where roles included Manager and Supervisor in Endoscopy and Surgical Technologist. Educational qualifications include a degree from Lebanon Valley College and a Certificate in Surgical Technology from the Lancaster Institute for Health Education.
