Dan Baker

Dan Baker is a seasoned network professional currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 since July 2019. In this role, Dan designs, builds, manages, and maintains a multi-tenant enterprise network that supports over 100,000 learners and educators, while also overseeing internet transit, firewall services, and colocation arrangements. Previous experience includes roles as a Network Engineer and Network and Systems Administrator at Lancaster Mennonite School, where responsibilities included maintaining wide area networks for multiple campuses and managing server environments. Dan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Messiah University. Technical expertise encompasses a range of networking hardware and software, including Palo Alto firewalls, Juniper and Cisco products, and server management in both Windows and Linux environments.
