Christopher Gaffney

Christopher Gaffney is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at Lancaster University, where engagement in academic responsibilities began in January 2018, following a role as a Lecturer. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Exeter from November 2016 to January 2018, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Nottingham from September 2011 to November 2016, focusing on the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes. Christopher Gaffney holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Nottingham, an MSc with Distinction in Space Physiology & Health from King's College London, and a First-Class Honours BSc in Sports Science (Physiology) from Liverpool John Moores University.
