Laura Lee Kormos

Senior Lecturer In Physics at Lancaster University

Laura Lee Kormos is a Senior Lecturer in Physics at Lancaster University, a position held since March 2005. Prior to this role, Laura served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Queen's University from August 2003 to February 2005, contributing to the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (SNO) experiment with a focus on the offline commissioning of the Neutral Current Detectors for Phase 3. Laura's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Elementary Particle Physics, a Master of Science (MSc) in the same field, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics, all obtained from the University of Victoria between 1992 and 2003. Education was initiated at St Francis High School in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where Laura earned a High School Diploma from 1974 to 1977.
