Melissa Green

Melissa Green is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in financial operations and compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Financial Operations and Compliance at Lancaster University since March 2022, Melissa previously held various financial leadership roles at Exertis UK from August 2016 to March 2022, where responsibilities included financial control and business partnership within one of Europe's largest technology distributors. Prior to that, Melissa worked at Yankee Candle Company (Europe) Limited from October 2013 to August 2016, contributing as a Finance Business Partner and Senior Financial Accountant. Melissa's career began at Hazlewoods LLP as a Financial Accountant and included a role as a Trainee Financial Accountant at Pitt Godden & Taylor LLP, where ACCA qualifications were obtained. Melissa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies from the University of Plymouth.
