Giancarlo Silvestrin

Giancarlo Silvestrin began their work experience as a Senior Software Developer at ADP in 2006 and held this role until November 2008. Giancarlo then worked as a Systems Analyst at Datacom from November 2008 to May 2010. Following that, they joined Thitem as a Senior Software Developer from May 2010 to September 2012. Next, they worked as a Software Engineer at Livestream from September 2012 to December 2013. Giancarlo then became a Lead Software Engineer at Gilt Groupe in December 2013 and held this position until August 2017. Following this, they worked as a Principal Software Consultant at Build Loop from August 2017 to the present. Recently, they have taken up the role of Software Engineer at LanceDB (YC W22) since February 2023.

Giancarlo Silvestrin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they have acquired certifications as an Analytics Expert and an Implementation Expert from Segment in March 2020.
