Afika Njomi

Afika Njomi is an experienced laboratory professional currently serving as the Laboratory Technical Manager at Lancet Laboratories since August 2019, with responsibilities including staff management, competency assessment, and quality assurance in alignment with organizational goals. Prior to this role, Afika worked as a Senior Laboratory Medical Technologist at Ampath Trust from October 2015 to August 2019, performing quality control checks and processing laboratory work. Afika began the professional journey at the National Health Laboratory Service as a Medical Technologist from June 2014 to October 2015. Afika holds a BTech in Quality, Business Administration and Management from Durban University of Technology (2017-2019) and a BTech in Biomedical Technology/Technician from Mangosuthu Technikon (2010-2013).
