Prinsloo Nakene (Pr.Sci.Nat)

Prinsloo Nakene is a dedicated medical technician at Lancet Laboratories since September 2022 and a microbiology and biotechnology research assistant at the University of Johannesburg since February 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a laboratory research assistant at the University of Venda from January 2019 to May 2021, where effective management practices, aseptic techniques, and microbiological analysis of food, water, and clinical samples were enforced. Additionally, Prinsloo contributed as a microbiology laboratory demonstrator and virology/protein biochemistry tutor, establishing grading schemes, marking reports, and assisting undergraduates. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, and Virology from the University of Johannesburg, along with a Bachelor of Science Honours in Microbiology and Immunology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Venda.
