Heather Reading

Heather Reading currently serves as a Conservation Advisor & Division Lead at Land Advisors Organization and as a Small Business Owner at Aspen Sports - Flagstaff, both since November 2020. Previously, Heather held several positions at The Nature Conservancy from August 2005 to October 2020, culminating in the role of Director of Land & Water Protection, where expertise in project management and complex real estate transactions led to significant conservation achievements. Prior experience includes a role as Consultation Biologist at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, focusing on the Western Riverside Multi-Species Habitat Conservation Plan from September 2004 to August 2005. Heather Reading's educational qualifications include a Certificate in Advanced Negotiations from Harvard Business School and a Master's degree in Forestry with a Wildlife Management emphasis from Northern Arizona University, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same institution.
