Benjamin Leong

Benjamin Leong has extensive work experience in various financial and managerial roles. Benjamin is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Land & General Berhad since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Acting Chief Financial Officer and Senior General Manager at Scomi Energy Services Bhd from September 2021 to January 2022, and from December 2018 to August 2021, respectively. Benjamin also held positions of Senior General Manager and General Manager at Scomi Energy Services Bhd from June 2011 to March 2018, and from October 2010 to May 2011, respectively. Before joining Scomi Energy Services Bhd, they worked as the General Manager at Scomi Chemicals Sdn Bhd from August 2008 to September 2010. Benjamin's earlier career includes roles as Assistant Vice President at Scomi Group Bhd and SCOMI Oiltools Ltd. Benjamin also served as the Corporate Finance Manager at SCOMI Group Berhad and RHB Investment Bank Bhd. Benjamin began their career as an Audit Supervisor at Cohen Arnold & Co from 1994 to 1998.

Benjamin Leong attended the University of Warwick from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in Accounting and Financial Analysis. Benjamin later obtained the certification of Fellow Chartered Accountant from the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES in 2015. In 2011, they also achieved the certification of Chartered Accountant from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
