Francisco Purroy Balda

Francisco Purroy Balda has worked in a variety of roles in the food industry since 2002. Francisco began their career at FERMIN USA as a QA Manager in 2002, before moving to ICEX as a Market Analyst & Technical Consultant for Foods from Spain in 2004. In 2005, they joined Hiperbaric as a Technical Sales Manager for Projects in Europe, ME, Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America. Francisco then moved to JBT FoodTech in 2016, where they served as EMENA Director of Sales - Processing & Aseptics Group, EMENA Sales, Accounts & Care Manager - Citrus and Juice Processing Technologies, and Country Manager Spain & Portugal. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as Director Land Life Iberia, where they are responsible for reforestation at scale in Spain and Portugal and the creation of a green belt to protect the Iberian peninsula and the rest of Europe.

Francisco Purroy Balda received their Masters in International Business Management from ICEX-CECO in 2004-2006. Francisco then went on to obtain a Graduate degree in Veterinary Science from Universidad de León in 1995-2001. Francisco also obtained a Doctor degree in Veterinary Science from Università degli Studi di Milano in 1998-1999. Francisco'seducational history also includes Instituto Padre Isla from 1991-1995 and Veterinaria, Córdoba.
