Jorge Ortega-Tavera

Jorge Ortega-Tavera, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in territory management and international business development within the agricultural industry. Currently serving as the South Texas Territory Manager at Land Pride since March 2021, Jorge previously managed commercial relationships in East New York and Connecticut for the same company. From May 2013 to April 2022, Jorge held the position of Territory Manager and Business Development - Latin America at Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc., where responsibilities included developing agricultural implement dealers and markets across Latin America. Earlier career roles include International Business Development Manager at Kanterra Stone World, LLC, Junior Industrial Inspector at Bureau Veritas, Production & Sales Manager at Mechanic Industries of Pantitlan, and Manager of a Plastic Mold & Mechanic Dies Repair Shop at Legrand. Jorge holds an MBA from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad del Valle de México, complemented by a Higher Technician Certificate in Manufacturing from Lycee d’Etat Louis Rascol.
