Kalpana Prasad

Kalpana Prasad currently holds the position of Senior Staff GIT at Landau Associates since February 2022, serving as a primary lab technician specializing in isotopic geochemical analysis. Prior to this role, Kalpana was a laboratory assistant at the UW Isotope Geochemistry Laboratory from September 2019 to March 2022, where research focused on pillow basalt from the San Juan Islands to analyze mantle sources through isotopic ratios of Pb, Sr, and Nd. Kalpana also contributed as a Habitat Restoration Crew Member with AmeriCorps from October 2019 to August 2020, working alongside Forterra to restore habitats in the Puget Sound region. Academic accomplishments include a Master's degree in Applied Geosciences from the University of Washington (September 2020 - March 2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the same institution (2015 - 2019).
